As of late August 2019 I started recording the music I listen to throughout the day in a daily music playlist. This extensive and evolving site is a side project dedicated to documenting my listening habits.

I love music. I love the way it makes me feel. I love how a series of notes can conjure up memories of times past — both of despair and ecstasy. How a lyric can take me back to some of my darkest days — or allow me to relive my greatest accomplishments.

A little bit about how the site is organized…

I enjoy immersing myself in full albums. Every album is catalogued in the order I experienced it. Within each daily music playlist I list my favorite album with a for easy recognition. These are further compiled on an album of the day page. For each album of the day I include a link to a full review. Typically, the link is either from AllMusic or Pitchfork. But sometimes it’s not. Favorite songs are also indexed for posterity.

I’ve also compiled a full list of artists I’ve listened to.
